About this Project

On this trip, you will live in dormitory-style accommodations, enjoy family-style meals, minister to local children and families through home and school visits, and attend various worship services. You may be asked to pray, share your testimony, or use your gifts in other ways to minister to the children and adults of Uganda at any time throughout the trip. We will also visit the Nile River and enjoy a fun adventure activity together (weather permitting).

About OUR PARTNERS:

She is More Than -She is More than exists so that every woman will live in freedom and know that she is more than sexual injustice. They are committed to helping little girls stay little girls. Their program provides young survivors with a safe and loving home anywhere between 3-6 months where they are equipped with the tools to heal and the freedom to simply be children again. We will be serving with survivors that have just joined the SIMT program, helping with building projects, assisting in slum outreaches, and visiting current sponsor children in the SIMT trafficking prevention program.

Mercy Childcare- Dedicated to caring for at-risk children, Mercy Child Care Ministry is committed to raising up the next generation of Godly leaders to bring transformation throughout Uganda. Their vision is to reach out to suffering children with the love of Christ, and their mission is to help in prevention of street children by empowering the family unit and reconciling God’s children to Him. We will be serving Mercy by serving the baby homes, leading medical outreaches in the slums, farming, sharing the gospel in various locations, and helping with building projects.
