Child Dedications at Action Church

At Action Church, we believe no one has greater potential to impact a child’s spiritual development than their parents. Child Dedications are a commitment between parents and God on behalf of their child, promising to raise their children in the faith until they are old enough to make their own personal decision to follow Christ. Our goal as the church is to join with you and equip you to build a spiritually healthy home. We want to be your biggest fans, your strongest supporters, and your trusted guides as you raise your child to know what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus. We can’t wait to celebrate this commitment with you.

  • Children ages birth through 5th grade are eligible to be a part of Child Dedications.

  • Yes, the Child Dedication ceremony is for families that are members of Action Church. If you are not a member, we invite you to join us for Action Steps at your location! To learn more, visit theactionchurch.com/steps. 

  • You are more than welcome to bring as many family members as you would like to see your child get dedicated.

  • No, we can’t wait to host you and your family! 

  • You and your family can come in whatever you are comfortable wearing.

  • Your Location’s Kids Coordinator will reach out ahead of time to give you and your family instructions on arrival and more details about the event!

  • 9:45AM - Check-In

  • Child Dedications will be a 30-minute ceremony with a brief dedication message, encouragement and prayer over the families, and a celebratory reception.
